Bedeviled


Ralph Friedgen doubled at the waist, put his hands on his knees and stared at the rain-soaked Wallace Wade Stadium turf after Tony Logan's fumbled punt effectively ended the game. As the veteran coach rose, he took his headset off and watched the final minute of Maryland's third consecutive loss tick off the clock.
